Sandra Kochan:
Sandra Kochan has lived and worked for over thirty years in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area. She has exhibited in local and national galleries as well as numerous art shows. In addition she was invited to paint a mural and canvas banners for several church sanctuaries in Mexico. Sandra enjoys teaching painting classes, locally at the North Shore School for Seniors, speaking engagements and facilitating art workshops in the Milwaukee area.

While a student at Cardinal Stritch University Sandra studied with internationally know artist Sister Tomasita Fessler who encouraged her spiritually, emotionally and physically to explore different styles of painting and the use of color. The spiritual beauty she finds in flowers is visible in the floral images that are brought to life in the dynamic, detailed paintings she creates. As a colorist she uses vibrant, jewel tone color in her handling of acrylic paint. The composition is highlighted with pen and ink to further define the images.

Sandra Kochan is a featured artist in our Art Alfresco exhibition.
