Tom & Sara Post:
Tom and Sara Post have collaborated in clay since 1976, originally as designers of studio pottery and more recently in the creation of limited edition and one of a kind wall panels and installation works Our clay wall works reflect a continuing “conversation in clay” as we work together on a single piece or work individually each lending feedback to the other. We both work in several media—Tom in photography and Sara in painting and printmaking in addition to shared work in clay. Our clay work speaks to these varied approaches—selection and combination of diverse imagery ranging from nature to graffiti, cropped compositions and glazed surfaces drawn, painted and etched. We are interested in edges—sometimes as containing boundaries sometimes as lines to be traversed.
